Springfield Bonsai Society (SBS) was established in the 1970s and has an active membership that meets many times throughout the year. Come join us for monthly meetings, bonsai workshops and exhibitions.

Where We Meet
SBS meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Monday of the month, February thru November. Currently meetings are held in the Illinois Audubon Society building, at the Adams Wildlife Sanctuary.

While most of our meetings are hands-on working meetings, we also offer some workshops for specific skill development (e.g. spring repotting of bonsai, fall styling of conifers, root-over-rock Ficus tropical bonsai etc.). Check the Calendar below, or on our Facebook page for monthly updates.
